Submissions

Clandestine Publishing does accept unsolicited submissions, however please keep in mind that due to the incredibly high volume of unsolicited material we receive, we can only respond to queries if we have an interest in the submission. If a response to your query has not been received within 12 weeks, assume that we have decided to pass on it. We sincerely apologize that we cannot reply to every submission individually.

Novels and novellas must be a minimum of 50,000 words to be considered for publication. Short story collections must be a minimum of 40,000 words, and any stories previously published must be mentioned in your submission.

Please note: As we are a small publisher based in the United States, if you are located outside of the country and we choose to publish your work, we cannot ship any author copies of your book to you once published. You will need to provide a U.S. shipping address for author copies.

We are currently acquiring in non-fiction:
• Memoir
• True Crime
• Poetry collections

We are not interested in:
• Science Fiction
• Westerns
• Romance

Submission Requirements:
• Query Letter
• Three Sample Chapters
• Author Biography (include any pertinent information, such as personal blogs, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram handle, or any other social media outlets or marketing tools you feel we should be aware of).
